I was raised on a horse ranch. Those experiences led me to becoming an Agriculture teacher.
My love of horses allowed me to become a student of horse instincts, actions, reactions, and how a person affects the horse' s actions, whether I was on the ground or, most importantly riding the horse.
my experience as an Ag. Teacher, gave me improved management skills, communication skills and honed my patience.
Although I have slowed a bit, I have been a farrier for over fifty years.
Maintained fences, pastures, vehicles, and buildings.
Started colts and progressed their training through the basic handle stage. They were then ready to move to advanced training in specific competetive sport classes, private pleasure riding, or ranch work.
