  • I take on multiple projects at one time. Some of my duties include creating budgets, creating SOV’s, obtain assembly letters, obtain letter of approvals, create submittals, create job books for projects, obtain building permits, register projects with manufacturers, obtain multiple materials quotes from vendors. Obtain NOC’s, Bonds and General Contractors permits as needed. Schedule pre job handoffs prior to project starting. Create wind uplift scales per project.

  • Overlooking multiple crews on multiple jobs sights. Have pre-job meeting with foremen, Project Managers, clients and consultants/architects and safety manager prior to job beginning. Make sure all crews have proper PPE, all tools, materials, scope of work and equipment needed to complete job on time and safely. Track production and weather on a daily basis. Make sure all weekly safety meetings are instructed by foremen. Measure jobs, draw up metal take-offs, oversee fabrication and delivery of materials to job sight. Analyse weekly and/or monthly budget reports. Report to PM and OM on a weekly basis to keep them up to date on job progress. Oversee jobs from beginning to end. Look through blue prints, scope of work and estimates to assure work and materials are accurate. Minimize downtime by monitoring equipment operations and making sure equipment maintenance are checked daily before use.
  • 2 instances were I saved the company money on materials and time.
  • 1-estimate called for certain type of panels. The quote in the scope of work called for another. Reported this to estimator and Branch Manager. Estimator corrected the style of panels before ordering saving on having to place a second order before it was made. Saved approx. $11000.
  • 2-materials order for job came to job site on multiple occasions. By the 2nd delivery of materials I realized we had more than enough to finish the project. Called Project Manager to inform him of this and have the 3rd delivery cancelled. Avoiding delivery, cost of materials and restocking fees. Saved approx. $14000.
