As a full-time graduate student pursuing a Master of Science in College Counseling and Student Development, I take a student-centered approach to promoting student success. In my current graduate assistantship, I support students with compassion, respect, and empathy as they navigate academic challenges.
I have experience working with diverse student populations, including students with disabilities, nontraditional students, working adults, and students from various cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds. I strive to create a welcoming and supportive environment where students feel heard, valued, and empowered to succeed.
Through academic coaching, resource referrals, and individualized support, I assist students in developing effective study strategies, organizational skills, time-management techniques, and self-advocacy skills. I am committed to fostering student growth, promoting accessibility and inclusion, and helping students overcome academic barriers that may impact their educational experience and success.
