Work History

Pad Safety Supervisor

Astrion Corporation
Cape Canaveral
04.2024 - Current
  • Successfully completed a Skillbridge internship into a fulltime position that oversees hazardous operations including flight termination system (FTS), ordnance transportation, critical flight hardware lifts, fueling and launch pad control during launch campaigns.
  • I have supported successful campaigns for seven United Launch Alliance launch campaigns, three SpaceX Starlink missions, and two test articles testing for Blue Origin. I worked with customers to develop courses of action for operations impacted by hazardous weather, reviewed 32 procedures and compiled reports for 4 anomaly incidents.
  • I have increased additional duties to include compiling weekly Hazardous Operation briefings for leadership decision-making, security manager (badging and access) and emergency management.
  • I have completed eight out of state trips to support FTS build up operations on sub-assembly build up with Northrop Grumman, ULA, and U.S. Navy Ordnance Testing Unit to ensure system integrity through service life.

Aircraft Sustainment Branch Manager

Headquarters Global Strike Command
Barksdale AFB
06.2021 - 04.2024
  • Key Developmental Position that oversees the training, equipping and sustainment of 1,700 maintenance personnel with a team of 16 functional managers for six diverse weapons platforms (B-1, B-2, B-52, E-4B, MH-139, and B-21).
  • I led a four-person core team to overhaul outdated readiness reporting standards with accurate and quantifiable key performance indicators to the Air Force’s strategic vision. I coordinated with key enterprise stakeholders to build a set of measurements that were adopted across four other functional areas.
  • I tackled a work center reorganization that cleared up performance and hiring inefficiencies and returned needed leadership billets back to the field. This improved job accountability and increased the talent pool for future hires while balancing career field experience.
  • I consistently seek training opportunities to bridge knowledge gaps and reduce single points of failure within my work center. This has helped my team with data analysis, report building and coordinating a wide variety of tasks and reduced work stoppages when schedules conflict.
  • I was lead advocate for three IPTs that supported Support Equipment issues that were chronic or emerging issues and connected field users to vendors to mitigate impact to operational requirements. We resolved 2 contract lapses, secured $1M funding for Bomber On Board Cargo System (BOCS), and procured SE from field units to ensure on time start of the B-52 Radar Modernization Program (RMP).
