Talented professional, knowledgeable leader and dedicated problem solver seeks to bring 14 years of exceptional service to the Project and Planning Department. Over the years I have acquired extensive knowledge of the design, layout, and the construction of the MWR facilities. This includes catering facilities, retail food facilities, childcare centers, auto skills, gyms, community recreation centers, golf courses and bowling centers within the Metro area, Seal Beach and El Centro. I have technical knowledge in construction, mechanical, electrical and plumbing. I have the ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings. I have comprehensive knowledge of facilities layout needed to perform complete projects. Some of the projects I have been involved in include the Island Club renovation, the Crown School conversion, multiple RIK feeder projects and the new Community Rec Center within the Admiral Kidd Club.I have the ability improve the arrangement, reassignment or locations of materials, equipment, and personnel as needed. I have knowledge of industrial engineering concepts needed to improve the production and productivity of a project/facility. Over the years I have demonstrated strong communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team. I am a current GPC card holder and have the training needed to know the laws and regulations regarding the contracting and procurement of government services as well as knowledge of the product expected. I am highly organized and possess excellent time management skills.
