Textron bought Opinicus and I crossed over and now work for TRU Simulation which falls under the Textron Aviation group which is a part of Textron Systems.

  • Work with the software systems group that designs sound models for flight simulators. This entails developing & testing software models to create sounds for the aircraft aural cues, communication & navigation systems associated with the specific aircraft.
  • Responsible for aircraft sound data planning, collection and analysis when necessary for Level-7 & Level-D simulators.

  • Software modeling and testing of sound models for various flight simulators to meet requirements for aircraft aural cues, communication and navigation systems.
  • Develop and implement hardware designs to integrate sound models with the aircraft audio components and the simulators speaker system.
