  • Instructed all GCON classes from Pipe Joining to Gas Lines Construction Worker. These classes include how we install our pipe, how we fuse our pipe, how we gas up our systems, how we purge our system, how we install meters, and how we Redline our prints and documents.
  • Instruct select Gas Distribution classes.
  • Course owner for the following classes. GLCW, Pipe Construction Main Completion, Pipe Construction Service Completion, Gas Fundamentals, Excavation Safety, Drill, EOT, Abrasive Blasting. By being the owner, I am responsible for maintaining the most current updates in the curriculum from Standard Work. Also having the knowledge and expertise to know the work and how to demonstrate how to do the work.
  • Lead the portion of Redlines and Instruct how to do them.
  • Teach and lead class through how to use Standard Work. Instruct how to operate the search and find using keywords in the system.
  • Teach how to find the proper Temporary Traffic Control plan and to make sure we are doing our due diligence on the proper set up on the jobsite.
  • Lead class while keeping the students all safe.

  • Started a career at consumers in 2015 as a LG4 completing all tasks given in a safe and timely manner.
  • Promoted to LG12 in 2017, overseeing projects while directing and explaining proper equipment operation to crew members. Became a Subject Matter Expert in gas systems through on the job experience such as operating, laying out various job sites, and implementing standard procedures.
  • Oversaw employee tasks while ensuring all the procedures, processes, and paperwork is handled in a timely manner. While working projects, provided on the job training to members by educating and clarifying proper user procedures to assure safety and appropriate gas construction.
  • Lead and communicate tasks efficiently and precisely. Taught and enlightened gas control work such as blowing down mains, main conversion, reading blueprints, pipe fusing, shooting missiles/hogs and much more.
  • Managed the Jobsite and the scope of the project while following standard work, and the process.
  • My first assignment as a Temporary Union Instructor (TUI) was in 2021 for Pipe construction. I continue to be a Temporary Union Instructor for Dig Assessments and LG12 classes.
  • While Dig Assessment Temporary Union Instructor, I successfully demonstrated and educated potential employees on the correct use of jackhammer, air spade, and pogo in order to give the best chance of employee passing exam. Also explained appropriate hand shovel form to safely dig holes in a timely manner.
  • Collaborated with Learning & Development to impact the curriculum by providing insightful recommendations based off expertise and knowledge to improve training programs and better implement a knowledgeable and safe work environment.
  • During Pipe Construction and GS12 class, gave instructions and taught by using real life work examples in order to be relate learning material to on the job situations.

  • Ran a crew of 4 -6 employees, working on AT&T Fiberoptics.
