Summary

I'm a Marines Corps veteran that went into gunsmithing and got pulled into the craft of machining and creating things from metal and wood. From school after the Marines I worked in a manual machine shop where I worked on manual lathes and horizontal mills. Then I moved into the world of CNC and learned Siemens NX for CAD and CAM where I specialized on tighter tolerance parts 10" to 32" on Okuma MU6300V-L 5-axis with turning machines.

  • Use GD&T to form approach to fixturing and machining.
  • Review blueprints and provide DFM suggestions.
  • Design and program fixturing for part manufacturing.
  • CAM parts for development and production on 5-axis with turning capability machines.

  • Setup, calibrate and maintain high-precision machines.
