I started as a cashier at Dollar general and worked with my manager and district manager to grow as well as I could as an employee. Within my first year I proved myself and got promoted to assistant manager.
Two years after that I was given my own store in Athens ohio. Before my first year there I turned one of our districts most underperforming stores around and was asked to take on our worst performing store.
At my final evaluation I was recognized for ranking in the top 5% of our 18,000 stores at the time.
