  • Identified problems with architectural and structural drawings (Sycamore North Affordable living $57 million) they did not overlay properly to each other, so in turn writing and sent RFI’s and note confirmed RFI’s on the blueprints which exceeded 800 RFI’s.
  • Managed inspection challenges on $22 million West Berkeley Bowl due to large scale electrical, mechanical, fire, refrigerant, and roof top solar array systems. Inspections were scheduled weeks ahead to ensure smooth systems shutdowns and restarts for inspections.

Insured all personnel comply with OSHA and local safety regulations governing safe working environments. Advised owners while meeting with building owner representatives, architects, and my superiors in order to discuss building progress and to advise on problems or discrepancies and find timely solutions to such.

Friendship Senior Housing is a $22.5 million-dollar project from the California Department of Housing and Community Development (HCD). It is a new affordable housing development for seniors in the Bay Area.

The four-story infill development will provide 50 homes for extremely low-income residents, with supportive homes set aside for seniors experiencing homelessness.

the complex has various on-site amenities including supportive services, a community room, kitchen, computer room, lobby, parking garage, and courtyard. 


  • Loro Landing Apartments
  • AOR, Lowney
  • The 26 Million-dollar Loro Landing Apartments is a five-story building with 62 combined units which include a mix of studios, one-bedroom units, and two-bedroom units. Additionally, the ground level of the building includes a property management office. The building was designed with sustainability in mind, with solar panels on the roof, low-flow water fixtures, Energy Star appliances, and dedicated bike parking, and will be Green Point Rated certified. The property also includes amenities such as a computer learning center, community room, laundry facilities, and an outdoor courtyard with planters for growing fruits and vegetables.


  • Los Medanos College PE / Student Union Complex

  • The 43 Million-dollar project consists of a new Physical Education Building that replaces an old building. The new Physical Education Complex includes two new dance & fitness studios, athletics workout room, a large combined general weights & cardio room with classrooms, men’s & women’s locker room and showers. Temporary facilities had been made available during construction. The project also included a new 2 story Student Union build with Conference rooms with a food court and bookstore.


  • Elk Grove Aquatics Center

  • The 31 Million-dollar project included a combination of pools designed to serve competitive aquatics, instruction, water fitness, and family recreation. Features include a 50-meter pool, fitness and instructional pool, and a recreational pool.


  • Walnut Creek, Larkey Park Swim Center Renovation and Modernization

  • The project involved a 4.9-Million-dollar complete reconstruction of the pool to meet current health, safety, and water-efficiency standards, including the replacement of all plaster, piping, coping and pool equipment with the addition of a splash playground and Bathhouse Upgrades & New Park Restrooms.


  • School of the Arts High School Modernization

  • A 27-million-dollar Phased modernization of the existing School of the Arts & Academy of Arts and Science consisting of tenant improvements including, Metal Wall Framing, New Sound Resistant Music facilities, Handicap Ramps for site accessibility, Remodeling of the Science rooms, New Fire Alarm and Fire Life Safety System. The project was phased around the school’s schedules.


  • Oakland, Peralta Oaks Seismic & Tenant Improvement

  • Scope of work included a 20.5 Million seismic and tenant improvement of approx. 50,000 sf, three story concrete building. Extensive seismic improvements including rock anchors combined with collector beams, structural steel columns/beams and BRBs.
  • Tenants include Alameda County Sheriff’s Office Crime Lab, Alameda County Public Health Lab, and Alameda County Sheriff’s Coroner’s Bureau.
  • Tenant improvements consisted of the following:
  • Coroners: Walk in Body Coolers/Freezers, Autopsy Stations, viewing platforms and locker rooms. Finishes included Stryker Autopsy lights, poured terrazzo flooring and sanitary epoxy wall finish.
  • Sheriff’s Crime Lab: Bullet Resistant Room for Projectile Recovery Tank, sliding gun storage lockers, evidence storage, crime lab exam rooms, RF Shielded rooms, locker rooms and office space.
  • Public Health Lab: Complete BSL3 Lab Space, Steam Sterilizers, ultra-high purity gas lines, articulating exhaust snorkels, sanitary epoxy wall finishes and office space.
