  • Company Overview: This is a federal job
  • Overhauled hose and appliance testing program. Conducted first ever NFPA compliant nozzle and appliance testing at Holloman AFB. Initiated new numbering system for all incoming hose and appliances to easier track and in-service/out of service items. Color coded supply and attack lines on all apparatuses for better on-scene visuals for emergency response crews. Assembled hose and appliance backstock to fully restock a first run engine in case of complete vehicle loss.
  • Enhanced medical teaching instruction, achieved EMT instructor certification, was one of four EMT instructors for Holloman fire department's first EMT class. Out of 10 personnel assigned to the class all 10 received passing NREMT certifications , increasing the departments medical capabilities and vehicle staffing requirements.
  • Obtained Red Cross CPR instructor certification, one of two assigned personnel on shift. Conducted classes and ensured proper hands-on techniques were performed. Provided student feedback and preformed evaluations ensuring proper medical procedures were taught and best possible care provided to base populace.
  • Assigned as Station Chief Holloman AFB. During this time, I managed numerous personnel in completion of daily tasks and assigned training. Coordinated daily appointments with crew swaps and managed shift roster in ACES. Conducted monthly facility inspections and submitted work orders for station repairs. Ensure fleet vehicle readiness, up channeling write ups for repair and ensured proper documentation for defective items.
  • Appointed as fill in Battalion Chief; directed crews on emergency responses and coordinated with agencies to mitigate emergencies. Assigned daily tasks and training, oversaw 17 assigned shift personnel over 3 stations. Constructed shift roster, managed daily appointments.
