  • Abide by State Historic Preservation Division (SHPD) in maintaining such buildings to uphold its original registered status while keeping it open for current staff offices and on-site law enforcement housing
  • Develop and execute a habitat management plan for the vegetative grounds around the 83-acre Kilauea Point Lighthouse area (open to the public) and the adjacent 130-acre wildlife refuge area (closed to the public), which serves as vital nesting and living habitat for multiple endangered and threatened seabirds
  • Co-authoring the Kilauea Point Visitor Center Rehabilitation and overall maintenance scope of work
  • Estimated $400,000 project to be submitted for solicitation in May of 2023

  • I oversaw and reported through daily logs all work that was done on both of the projects, which ran simultaneously
  • Designated COR for the Kilauea Point Predator proof fence ($2.2 million), and for COR for 5 other projects

  • One example of a project was the Kilauea Point NWR Entrance Road erosion remediation project, which was 100% GAOA work force

  • Ordered and coordinated all material and equipment required to build 120 foot retaining wall and repave damaged areas
  • Supervised the installation of wall, paving of damaged areas, backfilling of drainage rock to allow for seepage and prevent main driveway entrance from being compromised
