Train new mechanics on the CNC machines and oversee PMs while performing larger, more extensive repairs on the machines during down time. Design and fabricate modifications to machinery helping to solve ongoing issues and provide a more consistent and safe work environment. Work with and learn from all techs coming in to install, program or troubleshoot complex machinery and then write SOPs for calibrations and new PM schedules for the machines. Order parts, work with vendors, and catalog all of the work performed and parts used.
