• Led a project from start to finish, with an aggressive go live date that the customer was not willing to move. When the project scope expanded, I successfully onboarded and mentored two fresh hires so that we could make the deadline. My client, Berkley One, was impressed by our flexibility given their tough schedule, and offered me a position a few months later.
• Grew a team of 3 engineers to 20 over the span of two years, while mentoring and leading new team members. This allowed us to transition development to be completely in house, which saved the company $2 million in consulting fees and gave us more control over the product.
• Worked with actuarial and business teams to develop a holistic algorithm to handle incoming incident and loss reports from third party interfaces. This allowed us to more accurately assign risk factors to insured, leading to increased efficiency and higher earnings.
