Patio pools used Microsoft Word to communicate any problems I saw, such as leaks, valve replacement, or any other equipment failure. The company used software for mapping and routing on a daily basis. Customer service is a big part of the pool tech; any problems that I saw needed to be communicated with the owner. The other qualification for the job is to have a clean driving record to operate the company vehicle.

• Performed weekly pool cleaning and maintenance, including skimming the surface of the water, vacuuming the bottom, brushing walls and steps, backwashing filters, checking chemical levels and adding chemicals as needed.
• Cleaned debris from filter system components on a regular basis in order to maintain optimal performance of the system.
• Conducted routine inspections of all equipment associated with swimming pools, spas, hot tubs and fountains to ensure proper operation.
• Adhered strictly to all company policies and procedures related to safety protocols while working on site.
• E-mail reports on pool condition, maintenance performed, and recommendations for clients.
• Diagnosed problems with existing pools using testing instruments such as pH meters.
