  • "Desktop Edition" is a client server application that allows for the publishing of content using a WYSIWYG interface written mostly in Cold Fusion, with some image manipulation functions constructed using the Java programming language.
  • This content creation piece is accessed through the web utilizing a browser with all of the appropriate security measures in place.
  • The server piece that delivers the content to the end clients utilizing the Internet is written completely in Java.
  • The client side is also a Java application that handles the eventual display of the content and notifying the end user of the availability of new content and or games to interaction with.

Past Web Programming Projects

  • Chatbots - Have built many utilizing many different communication channels; Text Messaging, Web Messaging and Facebook Messenger and Twitter.
  • ColdFusion Server Side – leveraging the available APIs from different Social Media Channels and the Twilio Communication APIs, through CF code written mostly in CF Script.
  • Info Boards – Built a Digital Signage app targeted to any Android Devices or TVs, but more specifically targeting Fire TV sticks due to their cost-effective nature.
  • NODE/MEAN Stack Back End CMS – Broadcast Management System was built using the MEAN Stack while calling to Web Services/API’s utilizing Cold Fusion and MSSQL.
  • Data over Sound Application(s) – Contesting and Savings application where the payload is delivered using Data over Sound.
  • Silent Auctions Application – Built an entire application to replace the old school system of silent auctions.
  • Web Based Auctions – same concept as above but main bidding vehicle was a web site, instead of the Android tablets.
  • Interactive Contests - Contests, mostly promoted by Media companies to drive traffic into participating businesses.
  • Interactive Print Products – Integrate Text Codes or Kwik Codes as we call them into Print Products to drive mobile interaction.

Androidi O S Programming Projects

  • 2010, Built Real Estate App (iOS and Android) for our newspaper customers. It was a connected app retrieving active MLS listing data from our servers.
  • 2010, On Site Contesting – Android app would run on remotely controlled and secured Tablets where individuals would enter a unique code that was on a flyer that was delivered to their home via different distribution models.
  • 2010, Contesting via Facebook, SMS entry and IVR phone entry - Same method as above was used for entry and verification utilizing secured and remotely managed tablets, but the entry methods were different.
  • 2010, Collect and Win – Consumers would go to participating merchants and collect game pieces. They would then scan the game pieces using our Android/iOS app to see if they were a winner.
  • 2010, Classified Entry Kiosks – Android Kiosks (secured and remotely controlled) were used to enter classified ads that sometimes may have a cost associated with them and appropriate eCommerce features were built into that app.
  • 2010, Trivia Contests – Both Android and iOS app were provided as entry mechanisms in a local trivia contest to test residents’ knowledge.
  • 2010, Auction App – Multiple methods for bidding including Android and iOS apps, coupled with Text Message bidding IVR Telephone bidding and of course web bidding.
  • 2010, Digital Signage App – Detailed more on next page. One version was built for Android Devices/Android TV’s for display on HDMI devices.
