Learning Ambassador

• Being the first face new associates see and get to know at amazon.
• Part of onboard process of new hires by providing site tours along with answering questions new associates may have
• Participating in new hire onboarding classes with up wards to 90 new hires directly assisting and supporting learning trainers
• Conduct classes getting new associates comfortable in their new roles at Amazon
• Personally teaching 80 new hires in direct path with some going on to become POC's in the company and others PAs

• Teaching and shadowing other new ambassadors ensuring they are following Amazon standards
• Capable of teaching all RPND paths at LAS1 Facility(Prep, Decant, and Problem solve)

Learning PG/POC

• Directly assisting Learning trainers with their tasks
• Creating daily needs list of Ambassadors scheduled to conduct classes the following day
• Checking Ticket Que to ensure classes are being conducted when scheduled
• Scrubbing tickets making sure ticket queue doesn't have tickets sitting without being worked on
• Assisting Ambassadors at start of shift with getting their classes situated and their rosters ready
• Being a contact point for Ambassadors when needing assistance throughout the day
• Organization of rosters and forms needed to conduct training for ambassadors
• Conducting touch points with new hires in the facility ensure they are adjusting well to amazon
• Providing help to associates who come to Learning with questions
• Assisting Learning Trainers with onboarding 10 times
• Contacting managers and operations when needing their support getting associates/ambassadors to learning

Problem Solver

• Part of Amazons quality team making sure that numbers metrics of products is as close to perfect as possible.
• Taking responsibility of upwards to 20 associates ensuring they are able to keep working and processing with little to no down time.
• Working directly with associates correcting any mistakes they may have committed while processing items
• Correcting virtual and physical discrepancies with products we are receiving guaranteeing that our quality metrics are matching up with little to no errors
• Watching out for Fraud coming from vendors from copyright infringements to trying to sell expensive items while suppling us with decoy inexpensive item
• Catching hundreds of fraud items helping Amazon save thousands of dollars by being able to take those products out of the facility
• Dealing with Hazmat items that are not able to be normally processed at our facility and getting them sent to facilities that are capable of doing so
• Writing tickets on items that need more information to be properly proceed through our facilities network
• Reducing cost of damaged products that need to be thrown out by salvaging items that still pass Amazons quality check
• Capable of critical roles in facility adding to responsibility of quality metrics
• Responsible for tote merging saving Amazon hundreds of thousands of dollars by reducing man power and shipping cost of moving products

Workflow

• Virtually working in other IXDs across US
• Part of other sites quality team assisting with their numbers
• unreceive/delete items that have been dwelling in inventory for too long
• unreceiving hundreds to thousands of items a day to ensure other Facility's quality metrics stay up to par
• Creating tickets for items that must be unreceived but have a value of over $10,000

• Assisted in the successful training of new lifeguards, sharing expertise and best practices.
• Ensure new Lifeguards understand what duties are expected of them on the day to day
• Educating new Lifeguards on the professionalism that is expected from all staff on and off the clock while on premises
• In charge of 25 lifeguards on day to day operations
• Overseeing transition between opening shift and closing shift
• Streamlined communication between lifeguard team members and management, facilitating a smoother operation of the facility.
• Create daily rotation for Lifeguard stands limiting heat exposure
• Ensured swimmer safety by diligently monitoring pool activities and enforcing rules.
• Prevented accidents through proactive lifeguarding practices and maintaining a watchful eye on swimmers.
• Responded to emergencies with swift action, providing first aid and CPR when necessary.
