First and foremost I am an educator that strives to make sure every student I encounter will know that they are Loved and cared for. I do my best to find each students "Carrot" or what drives them to be better and I try to use that to motivate them to be their very best.

As the Ag Teacher at Darrouzett ISD, I started with four previous stock show kids and in my first year improved that to seventeen kids. The following year that number was improved to twenty kids and this last year it was improved to twenty three kids. The last three years each stock show kid has netted, after expenses, at the minimum a thousand dollars on their animals each year, along with several awards and banners.
The Leadership Development Education team has grow from. One my first year, to twenty three this last year. There was a green hand demonstration team that qualified for Area contest this year with several of the teams missing Area by one placing.
The Speech Development Team went from having no one compete three years ago to twenty one kids competing this year. One young man has qualified for state this summer.
Ag Mechanics has also grown from zero shop work three years ago to building an impossible table and a sound podium that required students to combine engineering, welding and woodworking. These projects competed in the tri State Ag Mechanics contest where the table took a second place and the sound podium took first. Three projects have already been completed and ready for competition this coming season.
I have Had the privilege of certifying three students last year, two students this year and three students next year in welding.
As the head boys basketball coach we have increased committed numbers from six to ten kids. the overall work ethic of these boys has improved dramatically. I have also had the privilege of coaching discus and shot. I have had one young man compete in in are in the discus and miss the regional by one place. Overall there has been great strides made in work ethic, commitment and PRIDE.
