Team Leadership: Lead a team of Maintenance personnel to ensure equipment availability and durability.

• Maintenance plans: Implement Maintenance plans, react to breakdowns, and proactively work on machinery to improve reliability.
• Train operators and maintenance staff in techniques and methods, ensuring compliance with production equipment.
• Support production teams in achieving safety, quality, cost, and delivery goals.
• Focus on continuous improvement in maintenance practices and processes.
• Coordinates and participates in PMs
• Establishes machine repair priorities.
• Inputs and manages data for the maintenance management
• Understands and troubleshoots machinery in assigned areas of the Manufacturing process.
• Interfaces with all related functions (ie. Production, Quality, Engineering, Support).
• Performs Lockout/Tagout procedures whenever working on equipment.
• Responsible for timely technical progression to achieve job level expectations.
• Appreciates the impact of maintenance repairs on quality, uniformity, and productivity.
• Performs repairs and/or PMs knowing that they have a direct bearing on tire uniformity and quality.
• Performs assigned duties assigned by supervisor.
• Perform millwright work such as aligning a pump and motor, install sheaves, belts, align equipment, check for proper alignment and belt tension.
• Troubleshoot, repair/replace power transmission/trains, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, Mig welding and assembly of parts and materials.
• Work on pipe systems, which would involve repairing, modifying, and installing systems.
• Troubleshoot process control ladder logic and variable frequency drives (VFDs).
• Performs preventative analysis testing on manufacturing equipment like vibration analysis, lubrication
• Working knowledge of 480v systems and their respective controls, ability to use and read multimeter.
• Experience with Allen Bradley ControlLogix Controllers / RS Logix 5000.
• Operate a manual mill and lathe.
• Involved in planned and unplanned maintenance work and jobs for both daily and maintenance outages.
• Enhance communication and coordination between maintenance and other departments, especially the production department.
• Experience troubleshooting and repair of mechanical power trains, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, Mig welding and assembly of parts and materials.
• Industrial maintenance experience.
