• Took service calls, welding, servicing, and rebuilding or fabricating parts, mostly on farm equipment to keep customers operations running.
• Assisted our millwright crews both local and out of state.

• I was hired as a welder, fabricating aluminum, galvanized, and stainless specialty access products, but was quickly moved into a leadership position in June 2017.
• Leading a team of between eight and twelve welders and assemblers as well as two painters, assisting wherever help was needed.
• Production planning, up to a month ahead, ordering parts and material, communicating with other departments to ensure we met ship dates, production goals, and inventory adjustments.
• Performed Quality Assurance tests and inspections on every unit before it was prepped for shipping.
• Joined the safety team and contributed to creating our new company standards as well as implemented changes on the floor.
• I was placed on the Continuous Improvement and Two Second Lean team and implemented changes in my cell that yielded a 12% increase in our year to year efficiency.
• Headed my departments 5S meetings as well as performed audits in other departments to contribute to the entire plants success.

• I was hired as a cashier but in a few short months was promoted to a customer service manager. My primary responsibilities were making calls on returns, handling large checks, and money transfers all while trying to ensure customers and associates have a good experience.

This job taught me a lot of skills that have helped my development as an employee and as a leader. It taught me how to resolve conflict, defuse unpleasant situations, and mediate between opposing parties effectively; and I wouldn't be the employee I am today without it.
