I work hard and make sure my family has everything they need. I always say, take care of your business, and then you can play. It is incredibly important to me to teach my boys the importance of how to be a good man and lead by example. I am married to the love of my life. We have one son together and two step sons that I treat as my own. I love living and the people in my life. I have hobbies that include, but are not limited to, engine/ vehicle repair (brakes, wiring, engine rebuild, etc) rebuilding small engines, such as 4 wheelers, I have completely taken apart machines to sandblast frames, paint, rewire, replace broken parts to a complete remodel and running quad. When I was younger I enjoyed construction, such as roofing. I have done concrete. I have remodeled my homes intensely. In recent 2019, from broken sewer pipes going from the kitchen to a bathroom and having to jackhammer out 4 feet deep to replace a pipe in concrete slab, to a new floor, cupboards, everything. Then moved to a new home, to later find water under the homes crawl space from having a broken water pipe, causing black mold and rot. 2024, I tore out cupboards, walls and the floor and had to install a septic pump, replace joists, all new flooring and drywall, installed new water heater. Made a brand new kitchen. I have built huge wood decks, playscapes, tables, wood framing etc, plumbing, painting, laid bricks (landscaping). I enjoy coaching baseball. I started coaching my older boys in 2016 for Taylor Northwest. All my teams went to All-Stars and we received pins and trophies. I enjoy being on the baseball fields. To recently my wife and I coached our youngest sons T-ball teams (2 seasons). In the fall, you can usually find us at a high school football game under friday night lights.
As far as work, I left the printing company, Valassis after 17 years because everything has started to go digital and I feared that I would le left with no job at all as I aged. I had to think about my retirement options. I was offered a Management position that I knew I would be crazy not to take and I knew it was time move on. Unfortunately, after nearing 6 months, the company decided they couldn't afford to have someone in the position, so I was let go. I then found a driving delivery job but that didn't last long because the pandemic hit most companies hard, putting them out of business. I feel the job I am at now has just prepared me and made me better and I am wanting to find something more career oriented and be able to enjoy what I do best til I am able to retire someday.
