Duties include walking properties and ensuring all logs are up to date, safety zones are in place, make ready units meet or exceed Weidner standards, and all aspects of maintenance are being upheld and managed through preventative maintenance scheduling.

  • Prepare budgets on property level and assemble capital improvement lists and bids for my portfolio.
  • Supervised employee performance, attendance, and safety to complete yearly evaluations.
  • Create, update and schedule all turns and work orders in Yardi.
  • I achieved “Certified Mentor” and take in “service in training recruits” to mentor and train correct skills and maintenance techniques over a period of 6 months.
  • Started in 2011 as lead tech for Sonoma Landing Apartments, where I was quickly promoted to property supervisor. After that I took on a new acquisition Flats at San Tan Apartments in the capacity of Maintenance Manager. This is a very fast paced property with twenty plus unit make readies a month. Once familiar with the property I became a Certified Mentor to pass my knowledge on, and help associates build talent. Lastly, I've been part of the regional team and focal point for the east valley.

  • I designed an upgrade package to help produce revenue on newly leased units. This took our average rents from $780 a month to $1075. All upgrades were paid for within the first 6 months of the lease.
  • Assembled a special projects team from sister properties. This dynamic group got together for a week each quarter to assist with jobs that were too large or daunting for onsite staff. We often completed jobs such as refrigerant conversions, large welding jobs, as well as mold or water intrusion.
