  • Planned and designed landscaping projects to meet customer needs and preferences.
  • Learned hard work and how to always show up on time. Shifts went from usually around 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 or 3 p.m.
  • I was also the leader of most of the projects we would do for peoples houses, like putting in new lines of gravel around trees. This taught me to understand how to work well with people, and communicate to them what I was doing and what they needed to be doing for it all to work out.
  • I also would clean up lawns such as trimming grass, mowing, cleaning up leaves or tree palms. This taught me how to always stay focused on the work I was assigned, and to give my best all the time.
  • One thing I consistently did during this job, weather it was lawn work, or putting in new renovations for plants to make a yard look better, I always would give my best. If I didn't understand something I would always figure out how to do it, and most of all I was never afraid of asking questions and giving 100% effort.
