  • Designed, improved, tested, and maintained stability of the ArcJet Complex power supply - The ArcJet Complex, device used for thermoprotective tile testing for spacecraft, using gasses that are superheated via power modules that convert AC to DC through a rectification process, has been at the center of Thermal Protection Systems (TPS) development for every NASA space transportation and planetary program
  • Designed and implemented an intercom system to function in extreme conditions of high EMI (Electromagnetic Interference) and ambient noise
  • Integrated enhanced communications between multiple facilities by creating a network of stations
  • Developed Computer Aided Design (CAD) modeling for performing structural analyses

Engineering/Robotics Intern

SRI International (Supervisor, Thomas Low)
06.2019 - 08.2019
  • Utilized Computer Aided Design (Solidworks) to model robotic arm used as surgical device for telesurgery trauma resuscitation, evaluated and incorporated customer preferences and/or requirements
  • Validated Solidworks model against requirements and prepared CAD files to be used in a Virtual Reality Simulator
  • Used various 3-D printers to produce components for transmission test bench
  • Rendered animations of transmission assembly using Solidworks
  • Filmed and produced videos for transmission prototypes

Engineering and Marketing Intern

Altia Systems (Supervisor, Aurangzeb Khan)
06.2017 - 08.2017
  • Based on customer requested features, used Solidworks (CAD) to independently design an apparatus to scan multiple lenses for the PanaCast
  • Used Solidworks (CAD) and 3D printer to design and print motor components
  • Directed promotional campaign for the PanaCast via multiple social media marketing platforms (twitter, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn), created 2D and 3D video using the PanaCast
  • Disassembled PanaCast, installed O-rings, and reassembled/calibrated cameras
  • Cultivated a section in camera manual for high dynamic range (HDR)
  • Performed field testing of PanaCast through diverse settings/software/ environments
  • Assisted team members across multiple operations (i.e., design, troubleshooting, various settings, component fabrications, and presentations)
