Subadra Hiralall

Subadra Hiralall is a dedicated full-time honors student at the Community College of Baltimore County. Her commitment and achievements have earned her the award of being on CCBC Dean's List every semester. She is mindful of the well-being of communities and has participated in a number of voluntary activities including being a Blood Donor Ambassador, Ascension St. Agnes Chaperone and volunteer at UMMC. She wants to be beneficial to not only a group of people but to humanity as a whole and thus is taking Humanities based classes in addition to her future career. Being an exceptional Biology student, she sees basing her studies in Nursing as a part of a larger, long-term goal of combating disease, which is a threat to us all. She intends to eventually get a Master’s in Nursing to become a Certified Registered Nursing Anesthetist along with a minor in Caribbean Studies.

• President of the Student Honors Council & Lead Mellon Scholar, 2022, Acceptance into the Honors Program, helps students plan events for Honors, advises students on any pathways to take during the Mellon's Scholar Program
• CCBC Foundation Scholarship Award, 2022, In recognition of achievement as a recipient of the CCBC Foundation Scholarship of the HONORS PROGRAM, CCBC Catonsville. Completed an Honors course and earned an 'A' in the course with a 3.8 GPA.
• Outstanding Co-Curricular Involvement Award, 2022, In recognition of valuable contributions to the Student Life Ambassadors
• CCBC Dean's List, 2021-2022, Attained a 3.5 GPA or higher at Community College of Baltimore County
