Notable Works

  • CONTRIBUTION TO PHOTOSHOP LIGHTROOM APPLICATION: I played a pivotal role in a UX redesign project by actively contributing to the creation of stacked toolbars and implementing undo/redo functionality for video presets. Simultaneously, I sought to reduce code dependencies and enhance architectural flexibility by learning various parts of the codebase, aiming to improve our development velocity.

  • CONTRIBUTION TO POSHMARK MOBILE APPLICATION: In my role as an iOS engineer at Poshmark, I played a key role in the development of the Poshmark iOS app. I spearheaded several significant initiatives, including enhancing seller listings by introducing detailed seller information, orchestrating a comprehensive code overhaul to migrate from Objective-C to Swift, while adopting the MVVM architecture for improved efficiency. Additionally, I contributed to the introduction of new view components within the main feed. These efforts were all aimed at meeting the demands of our massive user base, which exceeded 80 million users and encompassed a catalog of over 200 million listings.

  • MAPPING APPLICATION USING ESRI'S ARCGIS SDK: I developed an application that enables the creation of drivable roads, junctions, connection points, and parking spaces on top of a GeoTiff file, which the Ford AV team utilizes for drawing various elements and extracting data for analysis and research purposes; for this project, I utilized ArcGisSDK, adopted a framework-oriented development approach, designed a modular codebase to enhance code reusability and enable unit testing, and extracted the core drawing and mapping code to establish a standalone framework/library for the convenience of other developers seeking to leverage mapping functionality without the need to navigate the complexities of the ArcGis framework.

  • CONTRIBUTION TO FORDPASS MOBILE APPLICATION: I was a crucial member of the team responsible for researching and seamlessly integrating new features into FordPass, Ford's flagship app boasting millions of users, and my contributions encompassed developing features that extensively tested my proficiency in core motion, core location, iOS widget development, and communication with the parent app and other critical iOS components, with a significant emphasis on optimizing performance through rigorous testing methodologies.

Patent - 2 | Vehicle Smart Connection

  • Patent # 10939296
  • Abstract: A vehicle includes a controller, programmed to responsive to wirelessly connecting to a mobile device using a mobile credential issued from a server within a time frame specified in the mobile credential, issue an access token to the mobile device, and responsive to receiving a command authorized by the access token from the mobile device, route the command to a vehicle subsystem for execution.

Accomplishments

  • Patent # 11175150
  • Abstract: This system uses a computer to help plan a route for a vehicle. You start by drawing a path on a map on your device, showing where you want to go. The system then figures out the best way for the vehicle to move in that direction. If the vehicle gets close to your path and there are changes needed, it uses data from the vehicle's sensors, considers where you want to go, and the time of day to make adjustments and give you a new route.
