- Direct and coordinate production and Maintenance operations within company policies and procedures.
- Overseeing production processes to ensure that the most efficient and effective use is made of plant and equipment and that safety standards are adhered to.
- Plan and organize the maintenance department. Establish maintenance plan (preventive, predictive, corrective), AMC’s, availability of spare parts. (EAM/ERP).
- Responsible for plant HSE implementation.
- Responsible for maintenance and operation of fire fighting, fire alarm and ventilation systems.
- Laising with admin for the renewal application and inspection of the trade license, chemical store, consent to operate and Qatar Civil Defense.
- Responsible for plant production & maintenance goals.
- Establish and direct plan policies and procedures.
- Attend the technical meetings with the customers, internal and external audits.
- Contact machine manufacturers, arranging offers, finalizing the technical offers, visiting the supplier’s plant for final inspection.
- Prepare and monitor budgets to ensure that optimum use is made of production resources.
- Plan and implement changes to production systems and method of works, production scheduling and operating policies to ensure efficient use of materials, labor and equipment and to meet production targets.
- Ensures finished products are available for delivery to customers on time and within cost parameters as agreed with the Sales Department and in line with customers’ requirements.
- Direct and supervise the staff of the department to ensure that they are appropriately motivated and trained and carry out their responsibilities to the required standards.
- Present and attend the scheduled management meeting to set company production objectives, strategies and long-term plans to meet business objectives.
- Conduct employee performance reviews.
- Setting product cost/price coordinating with Cost Accountant.
- Comply with all HSE rules & regulations as per the company management system.

- Generally, assists Production Head in the functions of inventory control, documentation and maintenance records.
- Coordinate and expedite the flow of work and materials according to production schedule.
- Compiling reports on progress of work, inventory levels, costs, and production problems.
- Works to resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Assist Production Head in developing production plans as required achieving sales target.
- Interfaces with Stores & Yard, Quality Control and Maintenance to track production orders and other potential schedule interruptions or changes.
- Escalates issues as necessary to ensure that forecasted sales and unit production plans are properly integrated.
- Maintains department documentation of policies and procedures.
- Participates in other quality systems activities such as internal audits, inspection preparation and change control implementation as required.
- Schedule and plan production activities.
- Ensure production area is compliant with required quality, safety and environmental standards.
- Review documents in the device history records. Where errors are discovered, follow up with the individuals involved.
- Monitor housekeeping of all production area.
- Carryout out safety practices and awareness.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Comply with all HSE rules & regulations as per the company management system to achieve a pollution free workplace that is free of illness and injuries.

- Test raw materials received to ensure that they meet specified requirements.
- Carry out testing and inspection related to production as per International standards such as ISO, BS, EN, DIN, ASTMetc accordance with the programs.
- Conduct laboratory test and sampling and make reports required by the Product Standards / Contract Specifications.
- To device or assist with any additional tests, reports, or quality controls.
- Monitor maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment, reporting due dates of calibration. Where appropriate, carry out in-house calibration according to the established schedule.
- Keep proper records relating to all testing and calibration carried out, and maintain any reference product samples necessary for future testing.
