Strategize and implement mission and growth of agency:

• Drive strategic growth and improvements to enhance operational and organizational efficiencies

Ensure strong financial stability of the organization:

• Work with Board and staff to create annual budget
• Manage operations to budget
• Assess balance sheet and work with Board and staff on long term financial position
• Support Development team to fundraise to budget
• Oversee the management of the Thrift Shop

Safeguard the organization:

• Oversee Human Resources and Professional Employer Organization to comply with all laws, policies, procedures and best practices in relation to personnel
• Acquire and maintain appropriate facilities and equipment
• Contract for appropriate insurance
• Deliver and report on all grant requirements

Foster a desirable work environment:

• Nurture and support an effective leadership team
• Create and maintain a positive, productive workplace

Engage Stakeholders:

• Participate in fundraising efforts
• Collaborate with service partners, elected officials to address issues
• Organization has successfully experienced growth: Operating budget in 2008 was $700,000. In FY 25 it is $5M
• Staff has grown from 12 to over 50
• Volunteers are now over 500 per year

Property Management:

• Negotiated the rental of space in 31 Park Street
• Identified, negotiated, purchased and renovated 35 Park St
• Sold 371 Cabot Street

Planned and executed fundraising and communications for a private, nonprofit special needs school:

• Cultivated relationships with community, business and local civic leaders in order to draw attention to the private special needs school and bring in new donors and volunteers

Executed creative freelance marketing and fundraising projects for a variety of business clients
