As a Classroom Assistant supporting students on the autism spectrum, I provided individualized academic guidance and personal development support to promote growth and success. I facilitated one-on-one and small group learning, adapted instructional strategies to meet diverse learning styles, and reinforced lesson concepts with visual aids and hands-on activities. By maintaining a safe, structured, and engaging environment, I encouraged positive behaviors and social development while fostering student independence. In collaboration with teachers, I monitored progress, prepared educational materials, and acted as a liaison between students and faculty to create an inclusive and supportive classroom setting.

In my role, I implemented individualized behavior intervention plans tailored to a diverse range of clients, collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams to develop effective treatment strategies. I monitored client progress continuously, adjusting interventions as needed to ensure the best outcomes. I also assisted families by training them in behavior management techniques and maintained meticulous records of client sessions. Additionally, I engaged clients in therapeutic activities to promote skill development, utilized positive reinforcement strategies, and created visual supports to aid learning. My work was centered around delivering individualized treatment for children with autism spectrum disorders and other behavioral challenges.

Infant Teacher

The Goddard School For Early Childhood Development
Ridgefield

During my experience working with infants, I created engaging lesson plans designed to encourage early development while fostering a nurturing environment that promoted curiosity, exploration, and social-emotional growth. I supported daily routines by maintaining a safe and clean classroom, sanitizing toys and equipment, and ensuring all safety rules were followed during both indoor and outdoor play. I assisted with diaper changes, feeding, and toileting needs, carefully following parental requests for breastmilk, formula, or solids, while also monitoring hygiene and comfort. To encourage healthy growth, I implemented interactive play sessions to support cognitive development and gross motor skills such as crawling, walking, running, and jumping. I also incorporated baby sign language and other communication strategies to promote early language skills and positive behaviors. Additionally, I collaborated closely with parents to discuss progress, document developmental milestones, and build trusting relationships that supported each child’s individual needs.

I also maintain the office supply inventory, making sure that everything is stocked and reordered in a timely manner. I manage incoming calls and emails directed to the director, ensuring that all inquiries are handled promptly and professionally. I also keep the contact database up-to-date, ensuring that all client and partner information is accurate.

Furthermore, I plan social media campaigns to promote the director’s department and coordinate appointments and tours for clients. I handle general administrative duties, such as photocopying, faxing, scanning, and talking to parents as well as conducting research on various topics as requested by the director.
