· Igniter Volunteer, Los Angeles Cohort – Fundraised over $1,000 for providing assistive technologies to change lives of disabled people, rated over 125 buildings both in the U.S. and India for accessibility; wrote articles; single-handedly organized art competition for K-12 kids enhancing leadership & team-building skills.
· Student Leader, Houston Cohort - Mentored six igniters over a span of 9-months; coordinated schedules and meetings over different time zones; initiated varying strategies to motivate volunteers to enhance their impact within the disability community.
· Editor-in-Chief, Regional Cohort - Chief editor of all four ignite cohorts encompassing 45+ student volunteers; provided guidance, reviewed and gave feedback on student created writings for publication to VoSAP website.
· Central Supply Unit - Organized, packaged and delivered medical supplies, tools, prescription medication, equipment and devices to patients, nurses, doctors, and other departments
· Neuro Telemetry Nursing Unit - Monitored care for patients using telemetry to observe vital signs and detect changes. Attended to patients’ requests for assistance, including communicating with on duty nurses to convey information for further action. Assisted with patient discharge.
