
While working in retail and my internship I was able to learn how to work in fast-paced environments, and learn to handle transactions efficiently while working on my verbal communication skills and better understanding the individual needs and customer service. I am creative in my problem solving and communication due to the experience i've gained. I am able to adapt to an individuals needs and have a better understanding of individuals with disabilities, especially kids, and have adapted better active listening skills.
I assisted over 100 + customers each shift by answering questions, offering insight on the products in the store, and solving any problems the customers faced. I always greeted customers and made sure to let them know about any promotions or sales to help make their shopping experience better. I made sure all transactions whether cash, card, or check etc. were processed correctly and securely.
