NOT SO HOT MOM - FREELANCE BLOG

Mental health is extremely important to me, so I created a safe space for other parents to feel as though they are not alone in the trials and tribulations that come with parenthood. Through my blog, I tell my personal story and share different coping mechanisms that can be used daily to combat depression and anxiety. I also show parents that their entire being doesn't need to revolve around their children and tell them that it's okay to take time for themselves.

Through my writing experiences, I've learned to work through social media algorithms, learned how to create and manage a website, worked with SEO to gain traction within the internet world, as well as improved my writing skills.

BOOKERY BEES & AUTHOR SUMMER RAE

One of my life goals was to always become a published author, and I am glad to officially say that I have done so. As of May 25, 2024, my debut novel is set to be released on June 1, 2024. Through this experience, I've created a publishing group of people who share the same or similar interest in books and stories. I've managed to bring together a group of women who work well together in every aspect of the book writing and publishing process.

Currently, my job duties include managing in-office project schedules, constant contact with clients, and coordinating data transfers from the field to all other areas of data processing (i.e., Boundary & Topo, Flight Processing). Though this is more of a hobby now, being a mother, one of my favorite things that I've received as a baby gift was a diaper cake. Which is essentially a two or three-tier cake made of size one and two diapers, decorated with different items that would be useful upon the baby's arrival.
