With my entry level carpentry experience, I have obtained skills that allow me to proficiently work beside a skilled carpenter. I am skilled in power tools and also applying safety precautions while I am using them. Another skill I have acquired is floor sanding, where I use an edger, palm sander, and/or drummer. In this position I have also learned to apply finish to flooring, this requires me to mix retarder with Swedish or water-based finish and then apply to the floor with a finish pad.
