I also assisted in distributing the materials and supplies for each activity to students and led Q & A sessions following interactive activities.
• Book Buddies, Alexandria, VA, 09/2021- 09/2022, Led individual tutoring sessions with elementary students at a below-average reading level due to the impact of the COVID shutdown and remote education for 30 minutes twice a week. Each session consisted of reading books at the student’s reading level, completing vocabulary exercises, and incorporating word games to keep the student engaged.
