- Most Meaningful: This fellowship has been a transformative experience that enhanced my ability to care for complex elderly patients. I learned to manage multifactorial conditions such as dementia, frailty,delirium, falls, and polypharmacy, while also addressing functional decline and psychosocial needs.

- During my Palliative Medicine fellowship, before graduation, I had the opportunity to organize a CME-accredited wound care workshop for residents, nurses, and case managers at Larkin Community Hospital. I served as the chief organizer alongside my program director, Dr. Burgos, and our research director, Dr. Ahmed. This was an excellent learning experience that taught me how to prepare a CME grant and arrange a hands-on workshop. In addition, I gained valuable administrative skills by coordinating with hospital administration, nursing supervisors, and other key stakeholders to successfully execute the event.

- For the past year, I have been working in primary care (Internal Medicine) at Ascension Saint Agnes, where the outpatient office is conveniently located near the hospital. I typically see 15-20 patients daily alongside my provider, with a patient population primarily composed of senior citizens facing multiple co-morbidities such as hypertension, heart failure, atrial fibrillation with pacemakers, COPD, diabetes with nephropathy, dementia, and obesity.
