Motivated student currently working towards degree in Biomedical Engineering. Adept at conducting statistical analysis, computer programming, and collaborating with team members on projects. Currently focused on research in Electrical Nerve Stimulation to restore sensation in patients suffering from Spinal Cord injury.
The section of the lab I assisted in focused on projects restoring sensation to subjects after spinal cord injuries via electrical nerve stimulation. I am working on a project consisting of graphing and statistically analyzing the baseline values and perceived stimulus values for the different modes of stimulation for the test subject.
Conducted research and analysis on current treatments of Diffuse Large B-cell lymphoma, and even proposed a novel way to use CRISPR Cas9 gene editing technologies to modify NK cells to treat malignant cells. This research paper won an honorable mention at the Mercer Science and Engineering Fair.
Published cell analysis in the NCBI database under my name. This opportunity was provided by my school in partnership with Rutgers University.
