I have started from the ground floor in Patient Financial Services as a Biller, then within a few months, quickly moved into the Medicare Billing Specialty because of my ability, eye to detail, and accuracy. As time progressed and a need for more leadership was evident, my Director advanced me into the Government Billing Lead and with the implementation of Cerner, I was promoted to a Supervisor Role for several years beginning the end of 2016 until my move into Revenue Integrity September 2018.
Given a new opportunity in REV CYCLE with Revenue Integrity in 2018 was a blessing, it allowed me to view the hospital revenue field with a different pair of eyes that promoted growth in myself and with my experience, to add to the department and benefit the TEAM.
I am dedicated to the Hospital, to my work, to our team and department. I have demonstrated this with my forty plus years of experience and expertise at this facility and within the Revenue Cycle aspect.
I am proficient in my current duties, meeting goals of productivity, willing to learn and take on more tasks. I have a strong work ethic, hardworking, and eager to see financial success for Adventist Health.
