Sand Hill Elementary Teacher of the Year 2021-2022

For the 2021-22 school year, I was awarded the honor of representing Sand Hill Elementary School as their Teacher of the Year. I was nominated by my Instructional Assistant, my student teacher mentee, and three of my teacher colleagues. After a preliminary interview, I was voted through for a final interview, alongside two fellow SHES teachers as a candidate for SHES Teacher of the Year. After a series of interviews at the school level and school district level, I was informed that I was chosen as Sand Hill's Teacher of the Year. I am honored, humbled, and grateful to my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, for awarding me such an enormous honor!

Additional Information

Being an Early Childhood Educator is not a job for me. It is what I believe the Lord has called me to do. I often tell my own boys that it is my prayer for them to follow God's purpose for their life.
