My experience includes:

• Collaboration with principals, parents, related service providers related to Autism and Applied Behavior Analysis to meet students needs at all functional levels, with varied teaching methodologies, and on evidence based practices that promote engagement and learning.
• Set-up and present continuing education programs for teachers and aides in special education programs
• Provide behavioral support for teachers in the autism and cognitively impaired programs
• Conducted ongoing research on evidence-based practices in autism intervention, to ensure the most effective strategies were utilized in student behavior plans.

• Trained teachers and paraprofessionals in the implementation of discrete trial
• Developed classroom and home behavior plans for students with autism and severe cognitive impairment
• Prepared IEPs for students and reviewed progress on an on-going basis
• Prepared and presented workshops throughout the school year for professional and non-professional staff pertaining to curriculum, individual programming, data books and turn keying pertinent information from professional meetings and workshops
• Held weekly staff meetings for teachers and related service personnel, reviewed progress of students and followed-up on behavior plans
