Author of essays, memoir, and novels.

I have a master’s degree in Professional Writing from USC and a master’s degree in Mythology, Education and Archetypal (Jungian) Psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute in Santa Barbara. I have written a memoir, two novels and a five-act play. My essays have been published in This I Believe of NPR, Science of Mind magazine, and Underwired magazine—and I was a semifinalist for the Norman Mailer prize. I have studied narrative form and structure, and editing and revision extensively through organizations such as Story Grid, Writing Academy, and Community of Writers among many others.
