  • When I joined the company, we were still in start-up mode so, along with full HR responsibilities, I was also responsible for establishing policies, creating a handbook, establishing benefits package, rolling out attendance policy and standards, recruiting a strong management team, establishing paid time off policy and reasonable unpaid time off guidelines, driving a complete culture change, establishing relationships in the community, sourcing most effective temporary agencies, helping establish SOPs, standard procedures, and overall organization in an unorganized environment, establishing stability where it did not exist, developing safety program, FMLA and FSLA administration, leading a payroll system transition/process weekly and bi-weekly payroll, and wage administration and annual review process.
