Summary

Continuing to working with the awesome students and parents at Glendale Jr/Sr High School, as an advisor through Project Youth +, would not only be an honor but a wonderful way to give back to the community that has given me and my family so much. Coming here straight out of college, I have established so many valuable relationships that extend to today. My drive to work with the students here is stronger than ever. Knowing that my school counseling and teaching experience has given me my solid foundation, and going through the requirements of this position, I feel it's a perfect fit. My overall goal from my very first day in education (straight off my first resume) has been "to work within the education field to help students set goals, reach their potential, find their passion, be a good citizen and work towards a future that makes them independent and happy". I'm sitting here smiling thinking about each of next year's seniors and how hard they have worked so far and the potential they will show us as they finish their last year strong.
