Recruitment

• Recruit students locally and nationally at graduate and professional school fairs, student organization meetings and classroom presentations (in-person and virtually)
• Establish relationship with key stakeholders who drive prospective student interest in podiatric medicine
• Foster relationships with TUSPM alumni who assist in the exposure and growth of the profession
• Assist in the planning and day-of preparation of major TUSPM events
• Provide guidance and support to prospective students through advising, interview day activities and pre-matriculation
• Inform prospective students, advisors and parents through various presentation platforms
• Coordinate weeklong Summer Internship Program which exposes participants to the field of podiatric medicine

Marketing

• Create and update marketing materials
• Utilize and maintenance of social media platforms to inform, enhance and engage the TUSPM experience
• Advise TUSPM students in the editing of the yearbook and maintenance of the student Instagram page

Professional

• Collaborate with TUSPM faculty on evaluating and restructuring the strategic plan for faculty development and represent the Department of Student Affairs on various school committees
• Represent TUSPM at regional and national conferences

• Supervised residential living area of 225 residents, office assistants and 6 Resident Assistants
• Facilitated social and educational programming for small and large events
• Participated in University Opening of Semester Events and Open Houses
• Collaborated with university peers on the following committees: Student Success, Major Programs, Professional Staff Selection and the Recruitment, Training and Development Committees

• Managed a community of 3000 university students in a non-traditional living environment consisting of approximately 450 university owned houses
• Advised and supported 5-8 student Neighborhood Fellows, which built community, administered programs and supported students in a non-traditional upper-class living environment

• Supervised 4 Resident Assistants in a traditional first year facility that housed 200 students
• Fostered community development, administered educational and developmental programming and medicated conflict situations
