I was part of a 12 person medical team consisting of physicians, PA's, nurses, lab techs, and technical personnel on a mission to Jerome in Haiti in June of 2011 and 2012. The mission was 8 days, consisted of five ten-hour days of medical clinic in very harsh conditions, where we diagnosed and treated many serious and life threatening illnesses. People traveled on foot often walking 8 hours to our clinic for health care treatment and management of chronic and acute conditions.
