Developing a SCADA system for Mechatronics Assembly Station:

• Developed a SCADA system and designed an HMI interface using FactoryTalk View Studio to enable real-time monitoring and control of the Allen Bradley CompactLogix L32E PLC at an assembly station.
• Created ladder logic programs with RSLogix 5000, streamlining a 3-step assembly process along with automating part detection and pallet adjustment.
• Designed HMI layout and integrated with PLC tags.
• Implemented a system for real-time data tracking, providing valuable insights for process management and troubleshooting.

Design and Validation of a Vision-Assisted End Effector for Precision Pick and Place Operations:

• Designed an end-effector for FANUC LR mate 200ic robot for pick and place operations of thick metal plates and square metal tubes.
• Trained the robot to recognize object patterns with FANUC iRVision systems and the GPM Locator Tool for strategic object placement on a conveyor.
• Created and Implemented programs through Teach Pendant for pick-and-place operation, optimizing efficiency and accuracy, testing precision gripping of screw heads via vision system.
