Susie Butters

I am a great fit for the job of recreation aide. My natural people personality allows me the ability to work with both my fellow employees and the general public alike. I enjoy helping people in any aspect, as well as belonging to a group of like-minded people willing to work together to accomplish goals that benefit our community. These past two summers, I worked first as a volunteer, then as a summer camp aid at Mountain View Community Center with campers aged 6-7 years of age. I loved every minute of it! My strength was in the area of art and communications, as I was in charge of setting up and running the art rotation everyday, and it was my greatest joy to mentor not only my assigned group of campers, but to help out and mentor wherever needed. I love Phoenix Parks and Rec and I look forward to a long and fun future being your #1 employee!

Outside of being a student, I love roller skating through out my neighborhood, downtown Tempe, and at Greatskate with my friends and family.

In my free time, I love to color, paint, draw, and make cute arts and crafts. Whether it be for someone close or just for fun, it's something I have always been passionate about since I was a kid.
