- I will email different carriers to request the rates they will offer us.
- After receiving all the rates, I would choose the best rate and the best carrier to dispatch the shipment.
- I would update the system TMS with the rate approval and the special instructions that the shipment will require to be delivered.
- I will also provide the BOL to the carrier for reference, because some carriers would provide their own BOL.
- Once I send the approval to the carrier, I will email the warehouse where we will dispatch to have the shipment ready for the carrier.
- I will also be asking for the ETA of the driver until they pick up our shipments.
- If the carrier fails to pick up twice, we reassign to another carrier.

- I started as a regular employee, censoring the clothes and distributing.
- Then I was moved to help verify all the discrepancies.
- Then I was moved to the return department, and I would return all the damaged clothes to the vendors. We also received all the damaged merchandise from all the stores; we would verify the clothes with the transfer they would provide us and proceed to pack them to be sold to a jobber client.
- I was promoted to be the lead of the returns department. I was the lead for a year and a half.
- Then I was promoted to become the supervisor of inventory for the two warehouses, Ecom, and Retail.
- I had a lead and a team of 4-5 people working on cycle counts in both warehouses; we were in charge of figuring out where all the missing units were. We will track the unit since it came to the warehouse to see where we lost it or if it was misplaced.
- We also had control over how many units were in each warehouse, and we will make adjustments if they need to be made.
- Any discrepancies in the units we were in charge of taking care of.
- We will also assist the shipping department in checking that the customers' orders were shipped correctly.
- We will also catch whether the missing unit was a picker mistake or a receiving mistake.
