• YoteSwap. Duration: Jan 2024 - Present. A dynamic online platform, comprising a website and a mobile app, designed exclusively for the College of Idaho community with a user base of 1,100 students and growing, YoteSwap facilitates the exchange of essential items such as meals, clothes, class notes, and textbooks among peers. This innovative initiative aims to alleviate financial burdens by enabling students to access necessities they may not afford otherwise, fostering a culture of sharing and support within the college community. Swift 5.9.2 in Xcode 15.2 IDE has utilized for stable and efficient application development on iOS devices, while the backend infrastructure employs robust backend infrastructure to support user authentication, data storage, and transaction processing. Estimations predict that YoteSwap would ensure 38% of student body's food security.
• DBMS with Specify 7’s server architecture for Orma J. Smith Museum of Natural History. Duration: May 2022 - Aug 2023. Enhanced data management capabilities by 36% by implementing Specify 7’s advanced server architecture. This project aimed to streamline the museum's collection management processes, ensuring efficient cataloging, organization, and accessibility of its extensive natural history specimens.
• Astronomy database for classification of cosmic objects based on SQL and Python . Duration: Jan 2023 - May 2023. Alongside my astronomy researches, a database with specific classification was much needed. The main purpose would be to store information about various astronomical objects such as galaxies, star systems, planets, moons, asteroids, comets, probes, and more. It includes tables for storing general attributes, orbital information, physical characteristics, electromagnetic spectrum data, discovery details, and more. The system has classified more than 50,000 cosmic objects, which increased the efficiency of spectroscopic analysis by 63%.
• Data wrangling, cleaning up and visualizing, Cricket World Cup 2023 data frames using R /Matlab /RStudio. Duration: Dec 2023 - Feb 2024. The aim is to transform raw tournament data into insightful visualizations that provide valuable insights into player performances, team strategies, and match dynamics while cleaning up 230 columns and 5,647 rows of data. Derived new features and metrics from the existing data set that may provide additional insights into player and team performances, such as batting strike rate, bowling economy rate, and player impact scores.
• Establishing MFA (Multi factor Authentication) system at College of Idaho. Duration: Aug 2022 - Present. As a security measure for immense amount of phishing attacks that flows to the IT department weekly, our team was able to setup MFA for all the students Outlook accounts and LMS related accounts. Our strategies have been introduced to 5,000+ devices and they has reduced the success rate of phishing attack 78%.
