This is not a Federal Employer Company. Walden is a Contracted Security company through the USMS: Responsible for security and safety protection for the Middle District Judges, employees and civilians in Tampa Florida.

Duties to include:

• Entrance Screening: Operating security screening equipment and using the WTMD, hand wand to detect unauthorized or illegal weapons. Check individuals and all items hand-carried in the building for contraband and other prohibited items to prevent harm.
• Mail Room Screening/Loading Dock: Screen and /or search all incoming mail, (envelopes, packages), for biologicals or devices to cause life threatening harm. Search and screen contractors and vendors entering via the mailroom.
• Camera Monitoring: Also know as the Control Room: Interior to included USMS prisoners in cells, courtrooms, hallways, for disruptive or attempting to commit an illegal act or to cause harm or injury to another. Monitor exterior premises parking, Judicial parking garage: exit/entrance. Observe abandoned items, unauthorized vehicles.
• Roving: constantly patrolling the property, interior, and exterior for presence and to maintain safety and security.

AkAL Security, which is also a contracted company through the USMS. AKAL Security contract ended on September 30th 2019. These agency's are not Federal Employers.

• Duties included identical carried over to Walden Security Contracted company

Served 20 years as a Florida State Trooper in Tampa Troop C. My experience gave me knowledge to have sound judgement under high-pressure situations, make fast critical decisions. Maintain a high level of professionalism and Integrity.

Duties to Include:

• Investigated and prepare vehicle traffic crash reports, including fatalities.
• Conducted numerous traffic stops, issuing traffic citations, and warrant arrests.
• Conducted investigations reports: DUI, drugs and drug paraphernalia.
• Testifying in court: traffic, civil, and criminal.
• Recover and track stolen vehicles.
• Conducted numerous Background Investigations: Interview and screen, investigate. and review applicants for potential State Troopers for hire.
