Provide expert Controller Services to small to mid-sized Non-Profit based businesses. Manage 6 to 8 clients at a time while overseeing several direct reports including Staff and Senior accountants.
Manage client relationships and provide top level customer service with a client retention rate of 100% re-signed contracts.
Train and Mentor Direct reports and develop talent from within organization by conducting frequent meetings and bi-yearly performance evaluations.
Attend Board of Directors meeting and Finance Committee meetings on behalf of clients to communicate financial information, while displaying superior public speaking skills.
Prepare GAAP Financial Reporting Package monthly including variance analysis and an Executive Summary outlining pertinent notes to financial statements.
Build financial models for annual budgets, cash flow scenario analysis, and long-term financial planning.
Identify and recommend process improvements such as implementing and automating processes to improve work flow and internal controls for clients using platforms such as Divvy, Bill.com, and QuickBooks 360.
Oversee Annual Financial audits by providing and preparing work papers and working with auditors to answer audit related questions.
Perform Quality Control at end of year ensuring all Financial Statements are presented in accordance with GAAP and adhere to current accounting standards such as ASC 606 and ASC 842.
